The South African music industry's premier music awards, the MTN SAMA's released the nominations for this year's awards. Here is what the Rap/Hiphop section looks like:

Amu – The Principal
Kwesta – Special Rekwest
Slikour – Ventilation Volume 3 (VV3)
Tuks Senganga – Tshwanelo
Tumi & The Volume – Pick a Dream
Of the top of the head this is a decent list but is missing The Federation who's double cd is a monument in South African hiphop and Driemanskap who made a lot of noise last year with quality production and videos. Also interesting to see no JR.
